The Gulfstream G700 is the newest private plane on the market and it’s everything you could hope for.
Flying at a maximum speed of Mach 0.935 and fitted with up to five living areas, it can reach a range of 7,750 nautical miles.
By way of comparison, the G800, a fellow Gulfstream jet, has a range of 8,000 NM and cruises at Mach 0.85.

What makes the G700 such a great private jet
Since receiving certification from eight nations, the fleet’s use has been growing, now exceeding 700 flight hours.
Mark Burns, the president of Gulfstream, said: “We planned for a seamless entry into service for the G700, and this incredible start is a testament to both the maturity of the program and the dedication of the Gulfstream team.
“Thanks to the investments we made across our business, from research and development to manufacturing and completions, the G700 program is exceeding customer expectations – they are flying their aircraft around the world immediately upon delivery, and the feedback we are hearing is outstanding.”
The plane recently smashed some city-pair speed records, reaching Montreal from Paris in 6 hours and 16 minutes.
This was done at an average speed of Mach 0.90 or higher.
So far, the plane has lapped up nearly 60 speed records in total.
On board the G700
Gulfstream boasts of the plane offering ‘peak wellness’ for all those who fly on board.
With plasma-ionized air being pumped into the cabin every two to three minutes and high-speed Wi-Fi, it’s already sounding super relaxing.
On board the plane are twenty panoramic windows, offering those on board unparalleled sweeping views of the sights below.
If you want one more view, fear not—there’s also a ‘tail cam’ inside the cabin.
This gives passengers an opportunity to watch the plane’s flight path from a stunning new angle.
The plane’s bedroom and bathroom are exemplary too, with electric doors ensuring privacy whilst in use.
As good as the plane sounds, a price tag of $75 million might just put it just out of reach for the average Joe.
But it’s sure nice to look at anyhow.
