Technology company Nvidia has said that two mystery customers have accounted for 39 percent of its Q2 revenue in 2025.

The tech giant is most well-known for producing gaming components for PCs, and it is arguably the most popular brand in the world when it comes to those.

At the end of August 2025, Nvidia said that nearly 40 percent of its second-quarter revenue came from just a pair of customers.

It comes after a massive year-over-year increase in revenue over the quarter, and it shows how much difference just a couple of customers can make.

Who are the two Nvidia mystery customers?

While it’s an interesting development, Nvidia isn’t revealing too much about it.

In the report of its revenue, the tech company did not reveal the identity of those customers, keeping them a secret.

But the massive increase in revenue was easily apparent for the company, now worth more than Apple and Tesla.

The company said that it had recorded a record revenue of $46.7 billion during the quarter ending July 27th.

That is a massive 56 percent year-over-year increase compared to 2024.

The company has referred to the two customers as Customer A and Customer B.

In total, Customer A accounted for 20 percent of their revenue, while 15 percent was thanks to Customer B.

A handful of other customers accounted for the rest of the revenue in Q2 of 2025.

The revenue was welcomed by the tech company

The extra revenue was clearly welcomed by the company, and it revealed the nature of these customers.

In its filing, Nvidia said that the customers were all ‘direct’ customers.

By that, it meant that they are original equipment manufacturers, eg, OEMS, system investigators, or distributors.

They purchase their chips directly from Nvidia.

Indirect customers then purchase items such as the chips from the direct customers.

We can only speculate as to who the two mystery buyers were, with few details revealed about them.

Companies such as Google or Amazon might have been indirectly responsible for the massive spending.

It is very impressive to see such strong sales figures from Nvidia, with some of that thanks to the recent AI boom.

The Q3 sales figures for the tech giant could be even more interesting.
