Oprah Winfrey is renowned for giving away free cars, but she also has an impressive collection of vehicles to enjoy herself.

The TV host and businesswoman is massively successful and has made a lot of money over her decades-long career.

So it only makes sense that she’d use some of her wealth to treat herself to some beautiful cars.

Taking a look inside the impressive collection of Oprah Winfrey

If you thought of ‘Oprah’ and ‘Cars’, chances are you’d think back to her infamous TV giveaways.

On her critically acclaimed show, which aired between 1986 and 2011, the American host was renowned for her generous giveaways.

In 2004, she left her audience jumping for joy when she gifted each one of them a Pontiac G6.

She repeated the magic in 2010 when she gave out Volkswagen Beetles, along with some sage words of wisdom.

These moments have lived on in the public consciousness ever since, to the point where Cynthia Erivo even referenced it whilst hosting the Tony Awards last month.

What is less known about the 71-year-old is that she has a pretty impressive collection of her own.

The cars in her collection include a Lincoln Navigator and a Cadillac Escalade.

The Escalade was involved in a notorious incident back in 2014, when Oprah’s driver accidentally ran over a Florida woman’s foot.

As Lori Geller Bender’s husband banged on the hood of the car, Oprah stepped out of the vehicle.

Fortunately, all was forgiven and the woman got a selfie out of the ordeal.

“She couldn’t have been nicer and more gracious,” Geller Bender told Page Six.

“It has always been on my bucket list to meet Oprah, but I could never have imagined it would be because her driver ran over my toe. Its a crazy story.”

That’s an understatement.

The Color Purple actress also has a Tesla Model S in her collection, posting on Instagram about her EV purchase back in 2015.

It’s not clear whether or not she’s updated her Tesla since then, but with the other cars in her fleet, it’s not like she’s lacking in options.

She also used to own a 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing, which was auctioned off back in 2014.

Which is a lot more orderly than her usual method of giving away free cars, which left a lot of people screaming.

It sold for $605,000 in the end.

Other cars of hers that went for sale at the auction included a Rolls-Royce Corniche II Convertible, gifted to her by long-time friend John Travolta, and a 1997 Aston Martin DB7 Volante.

The cars pulled in a good profit, but the cash wasn’t going to the award-winning media personality herself.

It was to benefit the annual Arts and Culture Workshop at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa.
