Someone in Oregon has created a bizarre Chevrolet G20 van/snowmobile hybrid and is trying to sell it online.

The 1993 Chevy G20 has been lovingly and expertly converted from a normal, run-of-the-mill van into a one-off snowcat.

And it’s honestly one of the strangest – and coolest – things we’ve seen in a long time.

A short clip shared alongside the listing shows the snowmobile in full working order and it is a sight to behold.

The Chevrolet G20 van/snowmobile hybrid is truly unique

Occasionally, a creative and inquiring mind will answer a question you never knew you needed to ask.

Such as: ‘What would happen if someone put horse buggy wheels on a Dodge Challenger?’ or: ‘Why shouldn’t I fit monster truck tires onto a motorbike?’

And now, we finally know the answer to the question: ‘What happens if you cross a Chevrolet G20 van with a snowmobile?’

Turns out this is your answer:

Pretty cool really, isn’t it?

The one-off G20 Snowmobile is currently listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace; although it’s quite baffling to us how anyone would want to part with it.

It has a V8 engine and some cool tank tracks

The van part of the unique vehicle, began life as a 1993 Chevrolet G20, while the chassis came from a Bombardier snowcat.

The vehicle retains its small block Chevrolet V8 powertrain.

At some point, the high-roof G20 was specially adapted to include a wheelchair lift at the back.

It was then fitted with a set of tank tracks and some steering skis at the front, making it the ideal vehicle to tackle harsh snowy terrain.

Not to mention it looks pretty cool.

A listing for the snow vehicle on Facebook Marketplace confirms that ‘it runs and everything works’, which is good to know, isn’t it?

It is currently listed with an $18,000 price tag and we assume it won’t be long before someone comes along and snaps it up.
