A 1970 Dodge Challenger on eBay has caught the attention of classic car lovers due to claims that it could be a one-of-one car.
There’s a twist, though – this rare find has been abandoned for years and needs major restoration.
The car is currently up for auction, and – as of writing – 19 bids have been placed, with the highest bid standing at $3,550.
However, the bidding has not matched the reserve price yet, so you’re still in the running.

Claimed one-of-one 1970 Dodge Challenger for sale on eBay
This 1970 Challenger is described as a ‘very complete car’ by the owner, who believes it might be a rare one-of-one model due to its unique options.
The car originally came with a 383 cubic-inch engine and a high-impact Top Banana paint color, which is now faded and will need to be redone.
Even though the car is in bad condition, it still has a proper Challenger engine and transmission, but the engine is a warranty block – essentially a replacement – and doesn’t have a stamp.
The car has seen better days, but now, it’s been sitting in a junkyard for an unknown number of years, and rust has taken over – just like this abandoned 1959 Ford Anglia 100e.
The seller describes the car as having ‘rust everywhere,’ which means a full restoration will be necessary.
A great restoration project for classic car lovers
Even though it’s in poor condition, the car is still mostly intact, but an in-person inspection will be needed to determine what parts can be saved and what needs to be replaced.
After all, who would want to invest in a scrap on eBay and regret it later, similar to the guy who bought the 1965 Pontiac GTO?
Located in Reeds Spring, Missouri, the car will require transportation to its new owner.
So if you’re a restorer or simply a classic car lover, this potential one-of-one 1970 Dodge Challenger could be a fascinating addition to your garage.
