Meet the smallest car on Earth: the Peel P50.
But here’s the catch: this tiny wonder comes with a not-so-tiny price tag of $130,000.
That’s equivalent to some of the most high-performance luxury cars out there!

Peel P50: smallest car with a huge price tag
This car even has a Guinness World Record, as it was named the smallest production car to be ever made.
Not unlike this groundbreaking solar-powered car that broke the world record for the longest trip on a single charge.
This car might look like a result of the latest tech and modern engineering, but it’s quite the opposite.
Its origins take us back to 1962-1965 when it was first produced by the Peel Engineering Company.
The production took place on the Isle of Man in Peel, and that’s from where it got its distinctive name.
Fast forward to 2010, the company revived its manufacturing in England. But this time, the car had better mechanics and features.
You know what’s more surprising? Besides its petrol variant, the Peel P50 is also available as an electric car.
Whether it’s this tiny car or the wooden Tesla Cybertruck, vehicles can sometimes veer into the unexpected.
Specifications of Peel P50
The P50 stands at just 137cm (54in) and 99cm (39in) wide, weighing a mere 59kg (130lbs).
And obviously, don’t even think of planning a family trip with Peel P50. It’s made to seat one adult (not so comfortably), and maybe a small shopping bag.
Fuel efficiency is a big thumbs up with this car, as it can go an impressive 161 km (100 miles) per gallon – like this student-made EV that goes 2,575km (1,600 miles) on just one charge.
However, don’t expect this car to be speedy, its pep is limited to 45km/h (28 mph).
This is nothing compared to an average car, but it’s decent for a car of this size.
So if you’re looking for something luxurious, stylish, and speedy – look elsewhere.
However, if you feel like investing in a unique piece of automotive history, the Peel P50 is a tiny slice of heaven.
