This barn find Porsche 911 replica up for sale on Facebook Marketplace began life as a 1970 VW Beetle.
The 1970s VW Beetle has completely transformed and the car now looks like a very impressive copy of a Porsche 911.
The all-black car has been parked in Peterborough in the UK since 2018 but is now looking for a new home.
The seller says the car has already attracted plenty of interest – and it’s not hard to see why.

The Porsche 911 replica looks pretty spot on
Buying yourself a replica online is a bit of a risk – you might end up with something pretty impressive like this almost-identical fake Lamborghini Diablo or you could be stuck with a Bugatti Veyron knock-off that’s even worse than expected.
But as far as replica vehicles go, this Porsche 911 recently posted on Facebook Market is a good lookalike.
In fact, you’d probably never guess that the barn find vehicle was once a 1970 VW Beetle.
The replica sports the distinctive 911 shape and comes with a fabric roof and side windows.
A Porsche badge adorns the front of the vehicle while the word ‘Porsche’ is emblazoned across the back below the rear spoiler.
It’s fitted with a 1.3 liter engine paired with a manual transmission – so a little less powerful than the real deal.
The car has been parked since 2018
The seller says he bought the car from Leicester and drove it back to his home in Peterborough, but it was then ‘forgotten about’ and has been in his garage since 2018.
The listing explains that the car is looking for a new owner due to the fact that it ‘doesn’t get used’.
Despite its time off the road, the car does still turn over but the seller notes that it ‘doesn’t run long’ so it needs a bit of TLC to get it back up and running properly.
The Porsche 911 replica comes with some spare parts and paperwork that goes back to 2010.
Inside, the car needs a thorough cleaning to get its black interiors looking like new again.
The car, which is listed for £7,000 (around $8,700) has already garnered a lot of interest according to the seller.
