This one-owner 1976 Porsche 911 Turbo has more than 1.2 million kilometers (800,000 miles) on the clock, and it still looks as good as the day it rolled off the production line.
The beautiful Midnight Blue Porsche 911 Turbo was bought new by Canadian Bill MacEachern.
Bill first fell in love with Porsches when he took a test drive in a red 911T in 1970.
Fast-forward a few years, and a few Porsches, and Bill eventually snapped up this stunning 1976 Porsche 911 Turbo – and they’ve since spent many happy years together.

When it comes to high-mileage cars, we tend to think of notably durable and long-lasting makes and models, like this 2003 Honda Insight that hit the one million mile mark last year, or the Volvo P18000S that belonged to Irv Gordon and holds the record for the highest mileage vehicle of all time.
However, Bill and his 1976 Porsche 911 Turbo are here to prove that just because it’s a luxury car doesn’t mean it can’t be super reliable with next-level longevity.

After getting the car new, Bill had been steadily building up miles both on the road and on the race track.
By 1981, Bill had managed to put 88,713km (55,123 miles) on the odometer, and by 2006 this number had risen to 641,312km (398,492 miles).
In 2012, he cracked open a bottle of Champagne to celebrate hitting the super impressive one million kilometer mark.
“The car clicked over its one-millionth kilometer on the way to the famous swap meet in Hershey, Pennsylvania,” he said in 2017.
“And we had a little celebration with champagne toasts when I got back to Toronto.”

The same year Bill took part in that interview, his Porsche was sitting at 1,165,937km (725,000 miles).
Five years on, in 2022, he sat down with Hagerty and revealed that the odometer was now sitting neatly on 1.2 million kilometers (800,000 miles).
Photos shared with the publication revealed that the vintage vehicle still looked in tip-top condition despite its decades on the road.
Bill and the Porsche have built up a lifetime of memories, and it really goes to show that if you take care of something, it really can last.
