Man’s emotional reaction to being reunited with Porsche 993 he bought brand new in 1998

This Porsche owner has been reunited with his 1998 Porsche 911 993 after a very long time.

He hadn’t seen the car in 18 years.

He bought it new in 1998, used it every day for years and then sold the car when he moved to the US.

And there was more than one reason why this car was so special to him.

The reason why this Porsche 911 was so special

The Porsche owner in video shared by Cars_of_deal on Instagram, Vinny, bought a brand-new Porsche 911 993 in 1998.

For years, he drove it every day, and everywhere.

It’s certainly a special car – most people would agree that all 911s feel special – but it feels even more special to him because the car reminds him of his time in Germany.

He was living in the European country at the time, and he used his Porsche 911 as a runabout, but also as a track day car.

Now, 18 years later, he was reunited with the car, and it was emotional to say the least.

Vinny will also be happy to know that his car is worth roughly the same today as it was back then.

Back when it was new, a Porsche 911 993 would’ve you cost you anywhere between $60,000 and $100,000 depending on the model.

Today, it is still worth $60,000-$100,000.

Breaking down the 911 line-up

Breaking down the 911 line-up isn’t the easiest job in the world.

There are several different versions, and if you ask Porsche executives, they’ll tell you each 911 serves a specific purpose.

And they have a point.

There’s GTS Hybrid, which is hybrid as the name suggests, then the Carrera T, which comes with a manual gearbox, then the track-friendly GT3 and so on.

These differences become clear when you look at the price range.

The sportscar starts at $122,000, which is a lot of money but still sort of attainable, but it quickly goes up if you opt for models like the S/T, which goes for around $300,000.
