A rare and priceless Ford muscle car that had been hiding away down under was craned out of its hiding place in one of the craziest barn find rescues we’ve ever seen.
The car in question was a Ford Falcon XA GT Sedan, a very rare find in Australia and one that absolutely deserved a crazy rescue attempt.
Thanks to its surroundings, getting the car out of its hiding spot was not easy, and certainly not conventional.
And Glenn Everitt of Master of Machines uploaded a video on YouTube showing everyone the car and how they attempted to save it.

How rare is this Ford muscle car?
While possibly quite unknown in America, this Ford Falcon XA GT Sedan is a very popular muscle car in Australia.
Ford produced it for just a single year from 1972 to 1973, and it was the first iteration of the third-gen Falcon.
With just a single model year for the car, they weren’t produced in massive quantities.
Various engines were under the hood, but the most popular were the V8s.

These ranged from the 240hp 4.9-liter to the 300hp 5.8-liter in the GT model.
And the 351ci 300hp engine was under the hood of this barn find Falcon.
In fact, the GT was only available with the 351ci engine in Australia.
How the Aussie muscle car was recovered
The muscle car had been parked in a garage nearly 40 years ago, like this 1969 classic.
But since then, the building of a pool, foliage, and extended neighborhood properties have hemmed it in.
So to get the car out, owner Neil and friend David had to get a crane in to lift it.
The Ford was wheeled out into the sunlight and placed on the grass outside its home.
In came the crane, and it was cradled up and lifted into the sky.
Slowly, it was brought over the property and then placed onto the road outside the house.
Finally, after years in storage, the Ford was rescued and was free again.
The aim when this was filmed in 2023 was to get the car on the road again.
Hopefully, since the film was made, they’ve managed to get it up and running.
