A private Michigan junkyard has been concealing a real treasure trove of muscle cars and Chevy Corvettes, all collected in a highly unusual way.
YouTuber Auto Archaeology has checked out some very cool junkyards in the past, and this one in Michigan had a load of old muscle cars ranging from Chevrolet Chevelles to a load of Corvettes.
What made this yard even more interesting is how they were collected over the years, as well as the condition of some of the cars.
Many of them are sadly in a bad way, meaning it’s unlikely they could have been saved for restoration.

A row of Chevrolet Corvettes is a real highlight
As the video showed us, one row of the junkyard is full of some epic cars, mainly Chevy Corvettes.
While many are destroyed, there are still some highlights that can be picked out.
A lot of Chevrolet C2 and C3 Corvettes are present, with most stripped for spare parts.

But the beauty here is that many of these cars will go on to help others out as time goes on.
That made the yard a great spot for those looking for spare parts for their own cars.
What is more interesting, however, is how all these cars ended up being here.
How did these cars end up in the junkyard?
According to the YouTuber, the owner of the yard used to work with an insurance company.
That company would then send him all of its wrecked cars, allowing him to stockpile them.
Over time, the collection grew, and all sorts of cars would wind up in the yard.
Along with the Corvettes, some Chevrolet Chevelles would also appear.
The YouTuber was also able to find a G-Body Chevrolet Monte Carlo, as well as two Toyota Land Cruisers.
The yard recently had a trim, with many brambles and bushes removed to reveal the cars more clearly.
It is sad to see so many of these cars rotting away, knowing they have zero chance of running again.
But knowing they may keep others going on the road is a good bit of consolation.
