An incredible fleet of rare Chevy muscle cars were on display at a show in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and a lot of the cars were out for the first time in years after being hidden away in private garages.
If you’re a fan of pure American muscle, you would probably be gutted that the Corvette Expo and Chevys in the Smokies Event has already happened, and fleets of vintage and rare Chevy muscle cars were present in full force.
Examples of amazing Chevelles, both restored and unrestored, made appearances, as well as models with incredibly limited runs, making them super rare.
A YouTuber shared some great footage of the cars on show, meaning we’re lucky enough to experience what it would’ve been like to see the amazing, rare Chevys.

The place to be to see rare Chevy muscle cars
As well as being the home of country superstar Dolly Parton, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is also home to the Corvette Expo and Chevys in the Smokies Event.
Is there anything as American as an American muscle car expo in the birthplace of the queen of country music?
Attendees to the event were lucky enough to find a showroom filled with the most rare and gorgeous Chevy muscle cars. But they could also see incredibly unique Chevy parts.
In a video posted to the Hot Rod Hoarder YouTube channel, footage highlighted some of the amazing vehicles. And it’s clear that the event was impressive.
What kind of Chevy’s were on display?
In the video, a few amazing cars are shown off. Firstly, there are two rare 1965 Z16 Chevelles spotted.
One was restored and one was left unrestored, but both were particularly spectacular, as only 201 of them were built.
Probably one of the most impressive examples was a COPO 427 Camaro drag car. It came with its original paint, decals, and racing history.
There was also a sweet 1967 Chevelle Malibu convertible, complete with a L79 small block, which had been beautifully restored. And if that wasn’t enough, how about a Chevelle Malibu Super Sport from 1965.
It seems like there was an impressive display of American muscle in Tennessee. We’re sad to have missed it – what we would’ve given to see that COPO 427 Chevy Camaro…
