Rare concept car untouched for years discovered in old abandoned mansion

A YouTuber accidentally discovered an ultra-rare AC 3000 ME concept car parked in the garage of an abandoned mansion.

This is one of the rarest cars ever created, and it is also potentially extremely valuable.

This car has a unique story, and no one can determine how many examples still exist.

As for the car in the video, it would require a lot of work but it’s probably salvageable.

A rare concept with a troubled past

The guys from the VacantHaven YouTube channel found the car in relatively good condition.

It’s not concours-ready, far from it, but it is in relatively reasonable condition.

The 3000 was built in 1973 by AC, the same company that helped Shelby with the Cobra.

Production began years later, in 1979, but things went wrong quite quickly.

Through the years, the rights to the 3000 have been acquired twice, and in both cases, the company never managed to resume production again.

What’s up with all these abandoned cars?

Almost on a daily basis, we hear stories about abandoned cars, usually valuable, left to rot in remote places.

There are several reasons for that, but they aren’t always clear.

For example, in the case of the record-breaking $52 million car collection found in France, the owner had spent decades putting the collection together, and his family gradually sold it off after he died.

Sometimes it’s due to a unique set of circumstances.

That’s what happened with the brand-new Roadsters found in a shipping container.

In that case, a Chinese startup had bought new Teslas to reverse engineer them, but the cars ended up in containers because the startup in question went bust before the cars arrived.

Hopefully things will turn out better for AC 3000 ME we see here.
