Rarest Ferrari that you never knew existed is a 1-of-1 supercar shrouded in secrecy

Ferrari has built some of the most desirable cars on the planet, but one of its rarest creations remains largely unknown, meaning this 1-of-1 supercar is shrouded in secrecy.

Unveiled in 2023, this extraordinary machine was created for a single client and features technology and design elements that will never appear on another one.

Built on the foundations of a championship-winning race car, it combines motorsport engineering with a futuristic look that seems like a concept car rather than a race car.

And because only one exists, it’s a supercar that nobody will ever get the chance to own, apart from one person.

The rarest Ferrari was built for one private collector

The amazing supercar was commissioned through Ferrari’s Special Projects division, the department responsible for creating bespoke vehicles for the company’s most exclusive customers.

Its owner remains a mystery, with the Italian manufacturers never publicly revealing the identity of the collector who ordered it.

The project reportedly took more than three years to complete and was developed as a track-focused machine based on the 488 GT3 Evo race car.

When it finally appeared at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2023, enthusiasts were stunned by its smooth bodywork, hidden vents, and dramatic proportions.

The car’s design was intended to look as clean as possible, with many of its functional aerodynamic elements concealed from view.

That one-off masterpiece is called the Ferrari KC23.

The supercar features technology that will never be replicated

One of the most impressive aspects of the KC23 is its spectacular aerodynamic bodywork.

The car uses motorized panels that can open when extra cooling is needed and disappear into the body when they’re not, helping maintain its seamless appearance, like the gills of a fish.

The vehicle has also been equipped with motorsport-grade cooling systems and race-derived engineering taken directly from its GT3 program.

Because the KC23 was built for a single customer, many of its technical details remain closely guarded by the Italian supercar manufacturer.

The company has confirmed that only one example will ever exist and that the car was never intended for public sale.

While Ferrari has never revealed the price paid by its mystery owner, industry estimates suggest it cost well over $5 million.

That makes the KC23 one of the rarest and most exclusive vehicles ever produced by the iconic brand, and a car that most fans of the brand will only ever see in photos.
