This footage of reporters being left flabbergasted when they saw the speed of a $70 million Japanese Maglev train is sure to put a smile on your face.
The Japanese Maglev train is a bullet train that uses powerful magnets to lift the carriages and propel them forward, so it looks almost like the whole thing is levitating.
It was announced in 2025 that a new magnetic bullet train will connect Tokyo and Osaka in just one hour, but the already existing ones are true masterclasses in tech, allegedly reaching top speeds of 310mph.
