Rimz builds custom forged wheels for any car so we asked them to create bronze wheels for a Lamborghini Urus and the result was spectacular

There’s a company called Rimz that can make custom forged wheels for your car.
You can pick the size and design – and they’ll make it for you.
They’re faster than people think – it only takes a few weeks to have these rims delivered to you.
And the price is probably not as scary as you may fear.
Like plastic surgery for your wheels
In a way, rims are to a car like a nose to a face.
You can change the shape of a person’s nose, and it makes all the difference in the world.
It’s the same with wheels.
From Maybach’s dish rims to Dodge’s signature three-spoke wheel for the Viper, history is full of vehicles defined by their wheels.
And this company, Rimz, specializes in wheels in a way we’ve never seen before.
The rims they make look great, but that’s only half of the story.
Rimz will custom-design rims specifically for your car
While most aftermarket brands sell off-the-shelf designs, Rimz takes a bespoke approach.
Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, the company will custom-build forged wheels for your car.
Any wheel parameters as needed (apart from the material, which is always forced aluminum), and they’ll do it for you.
We asked them to create a set of bronze rims for our Urus, and the result is spectacular.
They’re made from T6-6061 aluminum, which is a type of aluminum that also alloys magnesium and silicon to make them lightweight but also sturdy and durable
Visually, the wheels are characterized by a complex Y-spoke design with a concave profile and a recessed center hub to give the Urus’ muscular stance a bit more depth
The color is halfway between copper and bronze, with a satin finish.
These rims are pretty big – 23 inches – par for the course for an SUV as imposing as the Urus.
It took less than three weeks, and they cost $6,300.
Not a bad deal for some custom forged Lambo wheels.
