Forget relying on sheer nautical power or helicopters; this Jet Suit from Gravity Industries will change the way you view flying forever.

In the UK, the Royal Marines put the brand-new transportation devices into action during a pioneering test.

With a unique appearance and versatile functions, the jet packs are proving to be a big hit.

These jet packs create a whole new level of power

Jet packs aren’t just a figment of your imagination or a game tool on Subway Surfers.

The device is often used in areas such as defence, without you knowing.

The jet pack is designed for ‘mission-focused environments’ as the clever device allows for super-fast access to locations that are usually difficult to reach.

So what powers these jet suits?

The suit uses more than 1000bhp of jet engine power, which combines with ‘natural human balance’.

So, to prove just how powerful the jet pack suits really are, the Royal Marines used them in a real exercise at sea.

It was jet pack vs sea wind in a military exercise

Together with the Royal Marines, the company shared footage of the jet suit being used at sea.

A marine was able to fly himself from a small boat onto HMS Tamar in just seconds.

After one single ‘pilot’ completed his mission, three others also used the ‘Iron Man’ like jet pack to join him.

When in full swing, the sight looks like something straight out of an action movie, and almost doesn’t look real.

These jet suits won’t just be used for life out at sea either.

Search and rescue teams will be able to use the jet pack to assist people in difficulty or even bring them to safety.

Gravity Industries itself also describes the Jet Suit as ‘delivering speed, agility, and decision-changing advantage when every second counts’.

With technology and mechanical engineering processes only set to advance, it might not be long before we see jet packs integrated into daily life.
