Shaquille O’Neal has opened up about why he got rid of his two Tesla Cybertrucks.
The former basketball player is renowned for his love of big vehicles – perhaps because he is a big guy.
But it seems that the ones from Tesla have lost their luster for him.
Now, he’s moved onto something else.

Why did Shaquille O’Neal give up his Tesla Cybertrucks?
Even by the lofty standards of celebrities, Shaquille O’Neal is notorious for his car purchasing habits.
He’s purchased Rolls-Royces, a Lucid Air, a ‘Frankenstein Ferrari’, and many more.
With more than 40 cars in his possession, the 53-year-old admitted he had to treat them like his girlfriends in order to choose which one he’d drive on a given day.

If that’s the case, his Cybertrucks have been dumped.
Talking on a recent episode of his podcast, The Big Podcast with Shaq, the athlete turned commentator made his feelings known.
He said: “I was into Cybertrucks but they don’t give enough charge mileage.
“Then I just got one of those IQs system Escalades.
“Today I was in Vegas, I ain’t have to charge up for four days.

“My Cybertruck here, if I go downtown to work tonight and come back, I’m gonna be struggling to get back.
“Right now it says 267. If I go to Atlanta to the thing and come back, when I come back it’s going to be…”
Karlous Miller, who was guesting on the podcast, cut in: “It ain’t going to be able to carry your big Shaq.”
Shaq has been making good on his newfound commitment to the Escalade IQ, having recently purchased his third one.
Parting ways with cars is never easy
This isn’t the first time that the former athlete has sold off some of his impressive collection.
He recently sold 10 of his custom cars.

Given that his collection is so vast that he forgot he’d owned some of them, it was probably the right call.
Shaq isn’t the only famous face to have given up a car.
If Shaq selling his Cybertrucks was a break-up, that would be a huge divorce.
