Imagine owning 15 Rolls-Royces and using the luxury cars to turn an insult into a statement, just like Sikh billionaire Reuben Singh did.

Singh loves a luxury car – his fleet of Rolls-Royces is very impressive, and is enough to make anyone jealous.

However, these cars mean more to him than just their monetary value, as he used them to turn an insult about his turban into his own personal statement.

Now, he can boast a lot of luxury cars, such as a Phantom and Cullinan, which form just a small part of an amazing collection.

This is the insult that led to the 15 Rolls-Royces

Singh was on the receiving end of a rather horrible insult thrown his way in 2017.

That year, an English businessman, for some reason, thought it was right to mock him.

He said that Singh’s turban, which represents his faith, was in fact a ‘bandage’ which was, of course, a horrible thing to say.

Singh then responded, betting the man he could match a different turban to his own cars for seven days straight.

If he met the criteria, the Englishman would have to pay thousands to a charity of Singh’s choosing.

Spurred on by the insult, Reuben Singh took a look at his Rolls-Royce collection and got to work.

He didn’t miss a single day of the bet.

It was the perfect way to get back at the man who insulted him.

The impressive collection of Rolls-Royces soon earned the nickname ‘Festival of Lights,’ thanks to the bright colors on display.

Why the insult turned into a statement

Singh, the CEO of Isher Capital, was very happy to turn the insult into a statement.

Proud of his Sikh heritage, he took to Instagram to rebut the racist remark made towards him.

Each post featured him next to one of his luxury cars, with a turban worn to match the paint scheme.

“I am proud of my Sikh identity, my turban, my faith, the history of my religion, all gifts from the Almighty,” he said on Instagram.

The challenge also allowed his cars to become truly iconic.

His collection of five Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUVs became a particular highlight among the automotive community.

What is perhaps more impressive is how he responded to a hateful comment in a cool, calm, and collected manner.

That was an incredibly powerful way to deal with such an insult.
