In Singapore, there’s a giant car vending machine filled with vehicles that are nothing short of breath-taking.
Usually you expect to get a candy bar or a can of soda from a vending machine.
The machine, located inside the ABM Building, is unlike any other you’ll have seen.
There’s a ton of cars to choose from – an F1 car was even there for a while.
How did a supercar vending machine end up in Singapore?
Around the world, there are certain things that make you go ‘Those guys are living in the future’.
Just take a look at what’s going on in China – there’s a robot patrolling the streets with the police, and a whole building being relocated via robotic legs.
But there’s something in Singapore that really takes futurism to another level.
In more ways than one.

We’re of course talking about the supercar vending machine, located at the ABM Building.
It’s situated inside the headquarters of Autobahn Motors, a family-run dealership which has been going since 1989.

General Manager Gary Hong got the idea for an automotive vending machine after seeing a display case of Matchbox cars at Toys ‘R’ Us.
How exactly does this work?
Inside this 15-story showroom are supercars from all corners of the car world – Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, and Mercedes-Benz.
Just like a snack machine, this luxury car dispenser is super simple to use.
Simply select your dream car, and within two minutes, an advanced robotic system retrieves and delivers it to you.

Don’t worry, this isn’t like a traditional vending machine where your selected item is dropped and rattles around the machine, waiting for you to stick your arm in and fetch it.
Cars are carefully lowered using a bespoke lift system.

Of course, you need considerably more dough to use this machine.
This isn’t quite a case of fishing out some pocket change to get a Kit-Kat.
The star of this car vending machine – an F1 car
Now, any car that comes out of a vending machine is pretty darn special.
But there was one car that managed to stand out from all the rest.
During the Singapore GP weekend, Mercedes placed one of its F1 cars inside the machine for marketing purposes.
To be specific, this was the 2025 W16 show car wearing the 2026 season colors.
It ended up on the sixth level.
Suffice to say, nobody ended up driving away in it – this was purely a publicity stunt.
At any rate, fans seemed to enjoy the display and shared their enthusiasm on social media.
“That’s so sick!” one said.
“[Bruh], my jaw DROPPED when I saw those slides,” another said.
