“Starlab will be more than just a destination, it will be an experience made infinitely more unique and artful with the Hilton team’s infusion of innovation, expertise and global reach,” Voyager Space CEO Dylan Taylor said.

“Voyager and Hilton are acutely focused on creating innovative solutions for the future of humanity and this partnership opens new doors to what is possible for comfort-focused space exploration and habitation.”

Hilton CEO Chris Nassetta said he was “thrilled” about the Starlab Hilton collaboration

“For decades, discoveries in space have been positively impacting life on Earth,” he said.

While it will be Hilton’s biggest space project yet, it’s not its first.

Hilton was actually part of an experiment performed in space back in 2019.

Astronauts aboard the International Space Station attempted to cook Hilton’s famous DoubleTree warm chocolate chip cookies in an experimental oven.

While they took more than two hours to bake (much longer than the 20 minutes they need on earth) the cookies became the first food ever baked in zero gravity.
