Startup company Verge Motorcycles has just set a new record for the longest journey by an electric motorcycle on a single charge.
The EV-maker set a new Guinness World Record with its TS Pro bike that spent 16 hours traveling across London.
The Estonian-made EV even had a bit of juice left in the battery at the end of the record-setting journey.
And the brand behind the bike has teased that this ‘is just the beginning’ for the TS Pro.

The Verge TS Pro set an impressive world record
When it comes to choosing an EV, range is an all-important consideration, and companies are working hard to boost their vehicles’ miles per charge.
Mercedes-Benz has been working on a revolutionary new paint that could offer thousands of extra miles per year, for example, while German startup Theion believes it might have discovered a way to triple the range of an EV.

And it’s not just carmakers who are keen to offer an impressive range to their customers.
EV motorcycle startup Verge Motorcycles decided to showcase the capabilities of its TS Pro’s 20.2kWh battery recently with a lengthy trip through London.
Riders Sam Clarke and Sara Sloman took turns riding the electric motorcycle through the city on a 16-hour journey.
The duo managed to do 193 miles (310.6km) across London, traveling through the heavily congested English capital.
They got around at speeds of about 12mph (19km/h) – so not exactly speedy, but understandable in heavy traffic.
The electric motorcycle even had some battery power left at the end
The bike even had some energy left at the end of the long trip.
“We did it. Verge TS Pro is now a Guinness World Records title holder for the longest journey by an electric motorbike on a single charge – 310.7km/193 miles through real city traffic.

“And here’s the twist: we still had seven percent battery left at the end.”
On its website, Verge Motorcycles explained its ‘core mission’ with the TS Pro was to enable riders to get the very most out of their bike, and this meant offering an impressive range.
The bike also has speedy charging and can go from 0 percent to 80 percent in just 35 minutes.
And it’s not just the charging that’s fast, it can do 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 124mph (100km/h).
Impressive numbers all around.
