While driving up a simple driveway in Los Angeles, USA, this YouTube star Steve – of The Hamilton Collection – caused a huge scene as he scraped his $3 million Bugatti Chiron.
The Chiron is one of the most-loved supercars in the world, known for unrivaled speed and a typically sleek German appearance.
But you simply can’t treat the Bugatti Chiron like any other road car, taking on speed bumps and potholes.
The Hamilton Collection owner, Steve Hamilton, found this out the hard way, as he rolled up to a friend’s house in LA and scraped Bugatti shavings all over his driveway.

YouTuber scratches $3million Bugatti Chiron
Steve Hamilton has a massive array of supercars, recently taking the order of America’s finest creation in the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution.
But despite owning vast numbers of these incredible autos, he made a massive blunder with his $3m Bugatti Chiron.
While driving up the driveway of a fellow content creator in LA, the Chiron made a huge crunch.
The side skirt had been ripped to pieces by the lip around the front gate.
The wounded supercar was then backed off the lip, creating even more excruciating noise, and leaving carbon fiber shavings everywhere.

One of the aerodynamic parts was snapped off from the underneath too, which would hamper the car if he was to put this beast back on the track.
“How do you get your cars on the drive?” a passenger could be heard asking.
While there was no answer, Bugatti actually built a feature into the Chiron called ‘Lift Mode’.
It raises the suspension of the car by several inches, allowing it to drive over small bumps at speeds beneath 30MPH.
With the video going viral on X – formerly Twitter, the YouTube creator was mocked for not knowing this.
“How do you own a 3m dollar car and don’t even know about the lift mode that raises the suspension for driveways and raised roadways?” one person quizzed.
“Who in the hell puts a roof rack on a damned Bugatti?” another added.
What happened to The Hamilton Collection Chiron?
Repairing and maintaining a Bugatti is a constant cycle of emptying your pockets.
One man found some cheap alternatives to keeping his Veyron running amid quotes worth thousands of dollars.
However, this damage could hardly be sorted by a cable tie.
Instead, the car was fixed, unwrapped, and recolored to a stark hot pink, before being sold.

The collection faced a lot of issues trying to sell the Bugatti Chiron. But was soon shipped off to auction to help fund the purchase of a Chiron Super Sport.
Steve collected his upgraded car from Bugatti HQ in Molsheim, France.
While the $3 million car isn’t the most expensive Bugatti in the world, it was still a sad sight to see the supercar get this type of damage.
