Despite being 70 years old this year, this Mercedes 300SLR is now slated as the most expensive car in the world, valued at over $100,000,000, and it’s blown Supercar Blondie away.

Alex Hirschi – AKA Supercar Blondie – is no stranger to expensive cars, but this one-of-two Uhlenhaut Coupe variants tops the charts of the most expensive that she’s ever sat in.

Built in 1955, the Mercedes 300SLR (sport, light, racing) was more powerful than an F1 car of its era and was dubbed the ‘greatest sports racing car ever built’ by racing legend Sir Stirling Moss.

Watch the video above as Alex gives a tour of the most expensive car in the world, and fires up this V8 monster to hear it roar.
