While driving along an Italian highway, this man saw an unbelievable $15,000,000 supercar duo cruising next to him.

When out driving on a highway, you can be pretty certain that you’ll see some cool cars along the way.

But whatever you’ve seen on your commutes to work may well pale in comparison to what Matteo Barbieri saw.

The Milan-based content creator saw two incredible cars alongside each other – the F80 and the SP3.

This supercar duo on the highway isn’t to be missed

It’s wild to think that these two cars are $15,000,000 when put together.

Imagine knowing that sort of value was cruising down the highway alongside your own car.

People on Barbieruz’s Instagram certainly had a lot to say about the pairing being seen out in the wild.

“The SP3 has to be one of the best-looking Ferraris ever,” one fan gushed.

“F80 > SP3 and it’s not even close in any way possible,” another insisted.

As you’d might expect from a bunch of car fans, there were mixed opinions coming from all sides.

Here at Supercar Blondie, we’re not going to take a position on which is the superior Ferrari.

But let’s lay out all the facts about these two cars, and you can make your own mind up.

Taking a closer look at the Ferrari Daytona SP3

The Daytona SP3 is from the Icona series and comes with a naturally aspirated 6.5L V12.

Capable of producing 829hp, this car can reach 62mph in an astonishing 2.85 seconds

Maxing out at a top speed of 211mph, there’s no denying that this car is a beast.

And inexplicably, people have still found a way to improve on perfection.

Novitec made a limited edition version, which was capable of 868hp, if you can imagine that.

How does the F80 compare?

It’s got a 3L Twin-Turbo V6 alongside three electric motors, pumping out 1,184hp.

As you might expect, this gives it the edge over the SP3 in 0 to 62mph times, which it can smoke in 2.15 seconds.

It also has a slight advantage in the top speed category, too, reaching the dizzying heights of 217mph.

And yet again, someone found a way to improve it – this UK billionaire topped it up to 1,200hp.

We approached Ferrari collector David Lee to ask for his thoughts on these two cars and whether they were pricey to maintain.

“Not too expensive at all. I have the exposed carbon fiber version of the SP3 and have a tailor-made exposed carbon fibre F80 coming,” Lee told Supercar Blondie.

“But with the 7-year maintenance included by Ferrari and these cars [being] well made, [I’ve not had] many problems.

“Even my LaFerrari, which I have an aperta and a coupe, people are worried about the batteries; I have not had any issues.”

Following stints at LadBible, The Sun, The New York Post, and the Daily Mail, Ben joined the team full-time in February 2025. In his role as Senior Content Writer, his sparkling copy, the ability to sniff out a good story at 100 paces, and a GSOH quickly led to him becoming an integral and invaluable member of the writing staff.
