A supercar is available that serves as a road-legal Ferrari 599XX.
It is also available for roughly half the price of said Ferrari offering.
But, aside from a few other factors, there is one small catch.
There are only five units of this road-legal Ferrari 599XX being made.

The road-going Ferrari 599XX is here
Okay, so what is this supercar – and who is behind such an ambitious project?
Ladies and gentlemen, allow us to introduce you to the Talos XXT.
And straight away, you can kind of see what it is trying to do.
It somehow manages to make the Ferrari 599XX look even more extreme.

For one thing, it comes with an enormous, drag-racer-like wing on the rear.
And it comes with plenty of firepower under the hood.
The 6.0-liter V12 originally produced 612hp when placed in the Ferrari GTB.
It was then upgraded to produce 661hp in the Ferrari GTO.
Here, though, Talos has boosted the powerplant to produce 674hp.
To be fair, this doesn’t exceed the 720hp of the Ferrari 599XX.

But this is a road-going version with a manual transmission, so it sort of makes sense.
Despite not matching the 599XX in terms of horsepower, the performance is still impressive.
The 0-60 time for the Talos XXT is still an extremely impressive 3.5 seconds.
A top speed of 205mph is complemented by an ‘F1-style’ exhaust system.
So you are much more likely to hear the Talos XXT before you see it.
Could the five-run supercar actually be a good deal?
Right – you might be wondering how much all of this madness will set you back.
And whether it is a good deal or not is entirely relative.
In isolation, this five-run supercar will make your eyes water and your wallet feel considerably lighter.
Each unit will cost around $1.24 million.
But how does that compare to an original Ferrari offering?
Well, you can pick up a Ferrari 599 GTO for around $880,000.

And how much will an actual Ferrari 599XX cost you?
Well, they originally cost around $1.75 million when brand new.
But they tend to fetch around $3 million nowadays at auction.
This is all a very roundabout way of saying this:
Yes, the Talos XXT is expensive in isolation.
However, it can actually be viewed as a pretty good deal compared to an actual Ferrari 599XX.
