German tuner Novitec has done what it does best and made an extreme and powerful vehicle even more extreme and more powerful.

The latest supercar to undergo the Novitec treatment is the McLaren 765 LT where the LT stands for Long Tail and the 765 is a reference to the amount of horsepower it produces.

Well, the name is no longer quite accurate, because this Novitec McLaren now delivers 855 hp.

Thanks to the new high-performance exhaust and new turbo inlet pipes, the twin-turbo V8 that powers it is capable of generating 850+ hp and 662 ft-lb of torque, 72 more than the standard car.

The result is a 0-60 time of just 2.5 seconds and a 0-124 mph time of 6.7 seconds.

The Novitec McLaren now has a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h).

Now, the 765 LT isn’t exactly what you’d call subtle and understated but Novitec decided to make it even louder, both literally and figuratively, with a lot of bespoke components designed specifically for this car.

In addition to the new 90mm tailpipes, they fitted a bunch of naked carbon elements including the trunk lid, the side scuff plates, new air intakes and a large diffuser at the back.

The tuning company also gave the car larger 20-inch (front) and 21-inch (rear) Vossen M3 wheels, which are available in 72 different colors and with brushed or polished finish.

As ever, the interior is more or less infinitely customizable.

The seats, the dashboard and the door panels are upholstered in a combination of leather and Alcantara.

Novitec says customers will also be able to choose between a “virtually endless” selection of colors.

And the price?

The standard McLaren 765 LT costs $358,000 and the bodykit alone (ie, without the engine upgrade) will set you back an additional $18,000.

If you want a car exactly like the one in the picture, get ready for a $400,000+ price tag.
