In a bid to have his own ‘spaceship on water’, this superyacht owner asked Porsche to swap tarmac and tires for salt water and sails.
Owning a superyacht is more than just being able to enjoy the serenity of the Caribbean Sea or being able to chase the sun around the Med.
It’s a flex.
But how do you stand out from the crowd? Well, how about asking Porsche to design you a spaceship on water?

Porsche to get creative with new sci-fi superyacht
For a number of years, car manufacturers have been getting bored with the roads and have been looking for pastures new.
Porsche is one of them.
Following in the footsteps of national compatriots BMW – which crafted one of the most futuristic boats on the planet – Porsche has now dipped its wrench in the water and begun designing boats.
Introducing Royal Falcon One, this sci-fi vessel was built with the aim of being a ‘spaceship on water’, and it’s clear to see how the marque followed through on that mandate.

Measuring at 41 meters in length, the peculiar Star Wars spaceship-esque build cuts through the waves with ease.
It’s one of three vessels of the same vein and is known to float around the Cayman Islands.
The future of manufacturing may be more wet than we could imagine
As mentioned above, this isn’t the only time a car manufacturer has moved out to the wild wet, geddit?
BMW has joined in the trend as of late, but Lamborghini actually led the charge with its own incredible $4m superyacht.
The marque even launched its first EV recently, which turned out to be an aquatic accessory for its boating life.
Porsche’s entry to the seas has been widely anticipated, though, with some boat fanatics even making their own vessels inspired by the body of a Macan.
Still, it’s no Royal Falcon One.

The boat was officially launched in 2019, but has since been acquired by an unknown yachtsperson in 2025.
