One Swedish skier has taken to YouTube to vlog his experience onboard the $28 million mega yacht ‘Maverick’, and it’s enough to leave you green with envy.
As we enter rich summers filled with vacations and coastal dreams, one man has gotten the season off to a flying start.
While small speedboats and rental jet skis might be the highlight of our summers, this mountain skier has defrosted the snow under his feet and gone sailing.
His sea-riding seat of choice just happens to be on a $28m mega yacht.

The yachting season is in full swing.
Already these past two weeks alone, we’ve seen the Google CEO Sergey Brin take his gargantuan $450m Dragonfly out to Ibiza and F1 stars, invited celeb guests, and Monaco residents dock the backdrop of the Grand Prix.
Now, YouTube creator and professional Swedish skier Jon Olsson has taken a trip on a $28m yacht around the Baltic Sea.
Named Maverick (given that its little companion speedboat is called Iceman, the Top Gun trope is prudent), it stands tall at 44.33m in length with three decks and a massive reinforced hull.

Maverick was only launched in 2024, having been built in Italy for a year by Cantiere delle Marche (the first Flexplorer 146/4 design from the boatyard).
But the beauty of Maverick only gets better up close.
Highlighted on Olsson’s YouTube, the vlogged tour shows off everything from a beach club, a private gym, a retractable infinity pool, a salon-dining area, room for 12 guests, including seven cabins and a master bedroom – and two jet skis.
The tour didn’t explore the interior, as the owner was on a business call during the vlog, but the decks and pools were in full focus.
The Swedish skier said, “I could really stay on this forever. But, I’ve got kids I’ve got to pick up at daycare. I had a hard time taking it in.”
Not a bad way to get the summer started.

While this yacht will stand firm on the Baltic Sea as one of the finest ships in Scandinavia, it’s been much harder for these outlandish vessels to stand tall in Europe this year, especially in Monaco.
Still, when you need to attract eyes and flex the wealth, why not park a McLaren Solus GT on its deck like a throwaway ornament for all to see?
