Taylor Swift is the talk of the town right now.

And we’re not talking about her relationship with Travis Kelce either.

The singer’s Eras tour has broken the Guinness World Record for the highest-grossing tour of all time.

Taylor Swift has become the first artist to cross the $1 billion mark for her recent slew of concerts.

According to Pollstar, the 151-show tour – which began in March 2023 and is set to finish in December next year – has already earned $1.04 billion.

What’s more, Pollstar said that 4.3 million tickets have already been sold, with the tour predicted to earn around $2 billion when it wraps up.

But it’s not just tickets that have generated the tour’s staggering revenue.

Merchandise has also contributed to the numbers, its revenue bringing in $200 million alone.

That’s a heck of a lot of t-shirts.

It’s no wonder Taylor Swift can afford a $40 million ‘Number 13’ private jet that’s fit for royalty.

So, whose record has Taylor Swift broken?

Her record breaks Elton John’s Farewell tour, which ended this year and earned $939 million over 328 shows.

To put it into perspective, Swift’s tour has generated more dough than this year’s two highest-earning tours (Bruce Springsteen and Beyoncé) combined.

And of course, Swifties have taken to social media to celebrate the queen’s milestone.

“Nothing will ever top this, we may be at front of the last big artists with the power to achieve this…” one wrote on X.

“Taylor has broken yet another record!! Cultivating an entire generation of fans,” another said.

“My woman been breaking and setting records everyday,” a third commented.

Taylor Swift doesn’t just have bragging rights when it comes to holding the world record for highest-grossing tour of all time, though.

The singer’s concert film of the tour had one of the biggest box office openings this year, too.

According to AMC Theaters, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film earned an estimated $95 to $97 million on its opening weekend, sealing its spot among the top 10 openings this year.

If you’re unable to cop tickets to one of her tour shows, perhaps seeing it in theaters in the next best thing.
