A tech YouTuber called Mrwhosetheboss tested 140 years of Mercedes-Benz cars, including the 1889 Benz Patent Motorwagen.

He tested 12 vehicles, starting from 1889 and all the way to a concept car that’s not even out yet.

Most of these cars are S-Class models.

But there are a few exceptions, including a car that’s not even out yet.

140 years worth of Mercedes-Benz cars, including a car from the ‘future’

Mrwhosetheboss, whose real name is Arun, started with the 1889 Benz Patent Motorwagen, which is conventionally considered the first car in history.

He then moved on to the 1928 Mercedes-Benz Nürburg, which was unveiled around the same time as the Ford Model T.

He then moved on the 1954 Mercedes-Benz Ponton before moving on to every generation of the S-Class.

The S-Class was unveiled in the 1970s as a flagship vehicle designed to make the owner feel special.

In fact, that’s what the name stands for.

The ‘S’ stands for sonder, which is German for special.

Arun test drove every generation of S-Class, including the W221, which was an absolute best seller, and the upcoming 2026 Mercedes S-Class W223.

Last but definitely not least, Arun had the chance to experience the new Mercedes Vision V concept, which isn’t even out yet.

If all goes to plan, the production version should debut in 2027.

Where have we seen this before?

We don’t know for sure, and he didn’t say as much in the film, but Mrwhosetheboss may have taken inspiration from MrBeast for his video.

A little over a year ago, MrBeast shared a video in which he drove $250 million worth of cars, from a car worth $1 to a car worth $10 million – and everything in between.

The video did really well on YouTube and even better on X.

And this tech YouTuber did something similar by driving 140 years of Mercedes-Benz cars.

Slightly different take and idea, but the concept was roughly the same.

And equally entertaining.
