This couple bought a Target returns pallet to see what electronics and tech items the US public sent back to the department store.

From headphones, to cases and even DVDs, the tech returns pallet was full of a variety of products.

With a ticket price of $1,000, hopes for the contents were high between the pair.

However, an unexpected twist occurred, with one particular product stealing the show altogether.

This tech returns pallet was a risk, but was there a reward?

Target is one of the biggest retail stores in the country, so it’s no surprise that it stocks a large amount of tech products.

Sometimes, though, items are returned to the stores in bulk, which is exactly why YouTubers Franchise Kicks decided to purchase an electronics and tech returns pallet from the chain to see what they could find.

Paying just $173, including shipping, they got the box of returns for a great price, considering the retail value was $1,000.

But when the tech returns pallet was first opened up, hopes certainly weren’t high.

“This looks like junk,” said the creators as they got a sneak peek at what was really inside.

The first few items consisted of some headphones, a designer Kate Spade iPhone case, and a wireless car charging mount.

Next up, the Rocky movie collection was pulled out of the tech returns pallet, but there was a catch. The third movie was missing from the DVD case.

“That’s disappointing,” said the creators as they moved on to the next items.

After things took a slight downward turn with the DVD, things started to look up when a robust kids’ iPad case in excellent condition was revealed.

Some earbuds also appeared, but just minutes after, the couple hit the ultimate jackpot.

One item made the pallet entirely worth it

In an unexpected victory, the creators pulled out a pair of Bose Ultra Earbuds, which have a ticket price as high as a few hundred dollars.

“That actually paid for the entire thing on its own,” said the creators as they started to inspect the black earphones that actually sit on the outside of your ear, rather than in the canal like most earphones.

So, not only did the pair make a huge profit, but they got to try out some brand new tech, too.

Other items that came in the tech returns pallet also included a Belkin charging station and a Polaroid camera.

Overall, for a returns pallet, the pair were lucky.

In fact, they even put some of the items up for sale through their email and eBay page, too.

So their gamble definitely paid off.
