This YouTuber in Georgia bought an Amazon return pallet packed with tech and gaming products for $880 to see if he could turn a profit.

We should point out that $880 was what he paid for the pallet, but the pallet included a total of $9,624 worth of gaming products.

This was obviously based on the original retail value.

It sounds like the deal of a century, but there are a few caveats – let’s unbox it.

There were a few hits with this Amazon pallet, and a massive miss

Georgia-based YouTuber Harrison Nevel bought a liquidation pallet of returned Amazon electronics, which consisted mostly of gaming equipment.

The total value of the pallet was over $9,600 – but that’s the original retail value in new and working condition.

And, for obvious reasons, none of these items can be described as ‘new’, and some may not even be in working condition.

As he pointed out in the video, ‘untested customer returns are a gamble,’ and you never know what to expect.

Items might be returned because they are actually broken, not just because the customer changed their mind.

There were a few hits and a massive miss.

Let’s start with the hits.

There were a few consoles, including two PlayStation 4s, and they all worked.

The PS4 is not as valuable as the PS5, but it’s still nothing to sneeze at.

And he also found an Xbox Series X, which is a lot more valuable than the PS4.

He also found a few video games, all of which worked.

Obviously, some video games have little to no resale value on the secondary market.

But it’s better than nothing.

The situation with the monitors was a nightmare

The state of the gaming monitors was particularly horrific.

Out of 26 monitors, 21 were broken.

Cracked screens, backlight issues, missing components – you name it.

Only five monitors were fully functional, which was pretty bad.

In the end, in his estimation, he ended up with around $1,500 worth of stuff.

If the math is mathing, he’s still looking at a profit of around $600.

Not a bad ROI.
