Down in Tennessee, one family took their Temu jet boats for a spin and were left impressed by the results.

Sites like Temu and Alibaba offer great alternatives to expensive luxury items, including boats and cars.

But this group of YouTubers decided to really see what all the fuss was about.

And, after testing them out, it was clear to see how they worked.

These Temu jet boats were put to the test

If you’re a car fan, there’s a high chance that you’ve utilized Temu at some point, but it turns out that it can be used for vessels too… well, sort of.

One YouTube family decided to test out the capabilities of cheap boats, and despite saying they were from Temu, it turns out that the real purchase was from Alibaba, another budget site.

They joked that, as the products are usually found on Temu are small, the Temu label seemed appropes.

The creators in question, goonzquad, revealed that the boats were snapped up for around $5,000, with the bigger battery option allowing them to tear up the water with ease.

And, for an amphibious EV, they also had a battery life of around an hour, not bad at all, really.

The guys did add some finishing touches before they took to the open water, though, and added some lights that made both the water and the boat light up.

After all, you should always put safety first.

The vessels really did speed to success

To really test the supposed Temu boats, they decided to see what speeds they could hit.

Even though it looked like they were tearing up the water, the speed recorded in one of the jet boats was only a mere 23mph, with a guess of 25mph in smoother seas.

Although, the guys did explain that they looked and felt faster than the true level of speed recorded.

Still, you have to admit that for an Alibaba buy, that’s quite a result.

After testing them during the day, they also took another body of water at night and were equally as impressed by their budget boats.

“You can order anything for these things,” said one of the guys, explaining the possibilities.

So there you go, it turns out that Temu/Alibaba boats are really worth all the hype after all.
