Tesla has quietly removed the cheapest Cybertruck model from its website.

The Cybertruck Long Range Rear Wheel Drive was released back in April.

It came with a starting price of $69,990, making it around $10,000 cheaper than the All-Wheel Drive variant.

However, just six months on, the cheapest Cybertruck model has been taken off the US-based online configurator.

The cheapest Cybertruck model is no longer for sale

It’s fair to say that 2025 has been a bumpy year for the Tesla Cybertruck.

Back in August, figures revealed that sales of the Cybertruck had slumped further to just 4,306 units in the second quarter of 2025.

In a bid to make the Cybertruck a more attractive deal, Tesla introduced some interesting offers and even launched a more affordable Cybertruck option.

The Long-Range Rear Wheel Drive model was the cheapest Cybertruck, and joined the All-Wheel Drive and Cyberbeast variants.

The EV offered a slight range increase of 362 miles, versus the 325 miles offered by the AWD option.

Reflecting the lower price of $69,990, the truck had a non-adjustable steel suspension instead of air suspension, the rear infotainment had been removed, and its seats were covered in cloth and didn’t come with the ventilation you find in other models.

Despite being $10,000 cheaper than the AWD option, it seems that the RWD hasn’t been a success for Tesla, as just months after it was launched, the EV has disappeared from the online configurator.

It comes after the price of the most expensive Cybertruck was raised

With the cheapest Cybertruck model no longer available, those hoping to get their hands on one of the trucks have two options: the AWD or the Cyberbeast.

The standard AWD costs $79,990, while the Cyberbeast will set you back $114,990 after its price was recently increased by almost $15,000.

As of last month, the Cyberbeast is only available with the new ‘Luxe Package’, which includes Full Self-Driving (Supervised), unlimited Supercharger charging, a four-year premium service package, and premium connectivity.

Tesla also brought the $10,000 Luxe Package to its Model S and Model X EVs.
