Pennsylvania man takes his Tesla Cybertruck to an Amish settlement and they can't get over one thing

This Pennsylvania man took his Tesla Cybertruck to an Amish settlement, and one of the farmers couldn’t get over one specific thing.

Sharing in a Cybertruck Owner’s Group on Facebook, the owner of the EV headed to an Amish settlement to pick up some raw milk, and while he was there, he struck up a conversation with a farmer.

According to the poster, the farmer was ‘amazed’ by the Cybertruck, and the owner did a little photoshoot of the Cybertruck next to a horse-drawn carriage.

If you think about it, the Amish have had Full Self-Driving (FSD) vehicles for years; they are just powered by hay instead of electricity.

What happens when a Tesla Cybertruck meets an Amish settlement?

You would think the last place you would spot an infamous Tesla Cybertruck would be an Amish settlement, but this EV spent a bit of time at one while its owner went to pick up some raw milk.

Posting about the Cybertruck’s field trip on an owner group on Facebook, the owner, Ugur Salli, wrote about striking up a conversation with a farmer about his EV.

According to Salli, ‘the farmer was amazed by the Cybertruck,’ and for even more of a juxtaposition, he parked his modern EV next to the farmer’s horse-drawn cart.

Back to the future

The farmer took a look under the hood of the Tesla and couldn’t believe that there was no traditional engine block down there, but it’s going to look strange if the most developed car you have is a horse.

Some fellow owners made it clear that the Amish do use battery-powered equipment outside of the house, but Salli was quick to point out that this specific farm is exclusively gas-powered.

One person in the comments was dismissive, saying: “The Amish have seen electric milk delivery floats before. Nothing new to them.”

The Amish use their version of FSD for everything, and instead of the grid, the Tesla Model Horse runs on hay, so it’s good for the environment, too.
