Tesla Cybertruck lined up for a climb against a Hummer and didn't expect to have the mickey taken out of it

This Tesla Cybertruck was embarrassingly humbled when it was lined up for a climb against a Hummer and ended up having the mickey taken out of it.

Both cars purport to be off-roaders that should be able to handle a very steep incline like the one seen in this video, but one certainly struggled more than the other.

One even managed to blow the other out of the water by showing off and reversing backwards up a steep hill and going straight over the top.

It looked as though, despite the Cybertruck being seen as a reliable EV to be used off-road, it doesn’t hold up at all against the more traditional off-roaders.

Tesla Cybertruck lined up for a climb against a Hummer

This could have been the off-roader race of the century between a Hummer and a Tesla Cybertruck, but the latter EV really let itself down.

As the race begins, both vehicles attempt to surge forward, but almost immediately something feels off, and it looks as though the EVs wheels start spinning too early.

The Cybertruck only made it about halfway up the hill before it had to reverse back down it with its metaphorical tail hidden between its tires.

There looks to be some kind of stall from the Tesla EV, and it doesn’t look like it got enough momentum to get itself all the way up the steep hill.

But then, the Hummer does something incredible.

It does everything – but backwards

To gain a bit more momentum, when it’s the Hummer’s time to shine, it decides to turn around and actually reverse up the hill.

It goes much further than the Cybertruck got to and manages to reverse all the way to the top and over the lip.

It seems that although Tesla sell the Cybertruck as an off-roader, it struggles sometimes with steep inclines or actually towing.

This video is the perfect marketing for the Hummer, as well as leaving the Cybertruck feeling humbled – impressive work.
