Amidst the chaos of Hurricane Helene, many Tesla Cybertruck owners have shared videos and images of how well their EV truck has fared against Category 4 storm.

Hurricane Helene has ravaged the southeastern United States.

Including states like Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

While many areas within these states were flooded, several Tesla Cybertruck owners shared updates about their experience.

Tesla Cybertruck against Hurricane Helene

Calvin Hudson, a resident of Palmetto, Florida shared a couple of images showcasing how the Tesla Cybertruck is fairing against the flooding.

According to the caption, Hudson was also using the EV truck’s Wade Mode.

The Wade Mode uses the truck’s built-in air suspension to pressurize the battery.

This enables the Tesla Cybertruck to drive for 30 minutes in water (up to 31 inches deep).

Another footage from a CCTV camera shows the EV truck moving through floodwaters as Hurricane Helene passed through the area.

Although it isn’t confirmed if this owner also used the Wade Mode or not, it was clear that the all-electric pickup truck was able to drive through the moving floodwaters just fine.

Hurricane-proof

Of course, the vehicle can only handle water up to a certain level so don’t go testing the truck on a beach.

However, many Tesla Cybertruck owners have shared that they have been driving the truck since Hurricane Helene.

One such owner can be seen driving the EV truck through a fairly large puddle of water.

Many Cybertruck owners also showed their appreciation for the all-electric pickup truck’s PowerShare feature on several forums and groups.

The EV truck’s PowerShare feature must’ve been invaluable for owners during Hurricane Helene.

It provided their homes with enough energy to run their appliances for days.

Of course, the feature is often used to charge other EVs, but in these extreme situations, its true value is witnessed.
