US man who won Tesla Cybertruck from MrBeast was 'shaking' as he was given it but immediately had a difficult decision to make

The man who secured himself a Tesla Cybertruck from MrBeast has opened up about the incredible experience and the tough choice that came with it.
Raine was the lucky guy who snagged him an enviable prize after YouTuber FaZe Rug netted a free throw.
It wouldn’t be a MrBeast video without some out-of-this-world prize, would it?
But things weren’t as straightforward as that, because Raine now had a tricky dilemma lying in front of him.
Winning a Tesla Cybertruck on a MrBeast video sounds like a dream – but it came with a tricky choice
If you cast your mind back to 2024, you might recall that MrBeast had set up quite an elaborate set of challenges in one of his videos.
You might be thinking, ‘What’s new? He always does that.’
And while there is some truth to that, this challenge was on a whole other level.
In the video, 50 content creators came together to live in a glass box.
One of the challenges set up for them was to attempt a basketball shot.
If they got the ball into the hoop, one of their subscribers would walk away with a brand-new Tesla Cybertruck.
FaZe Rug was playing for a guy called Raine, and fortunately, he sank the shot.
Raine was understandably ecstatic and could be seen shaking as he got into his new ride.
Shortly after the video went online, he shared an Instagram post praising FaZe Rug and MrBeast.
Shortly after the win, he was interviewed on TikTok channel shimmerwali.
He painted quite a vivid picture when describing his reaction to winning.
“[I felt] euphoria. I spun out in it,” he recalled.
“I was swearing like a sailor.”
But there was one difficult decision lying in wait for him – would he take the truck or a cash prize?
What did Raine decide to do ultimately?
For many people, this kind of decision would be painful to make.
But for Raine, he opted to take a more practical option and walked away with the cash, which he invested in his business.
The interviewer asked what advice he would give to anyone participating in a MrBeast video
“I’ve got no advice in that regard, I got lucky, I was a passenger princess,” he admitted.
“If you ever have the opportunity to be a part of a MrBeast video, just give it your all.”

At the rate MrBeast is making content, there’s pretty good odds we’ll all make an appearance at one point or another.
His YouTube output is legendary – as are the prizes people have won along the way.
One guy won a Lamborghini Gallardo thanks to the YouTuber, while 100 pilots competed for a private jet.
