By now, you are probably all too familiar with the exploits of the Tesla Cybertruck.
Ever since its release in 2023, the all-EV Cybertruck has been an internet phenomenon.
It has been the subject of almost every kind of vehicle challenge you can think of.
From strength tests to tug-of-war battles, the Cybertruck has truly done it all.
And now, one owner has taken his Cybertruck on a truly real-world test.
Chris Helton is a member of the Cybertruck Owners Only Facebook group.

And he posted his real-world review of the truck within the group.
In a very lengthy post, Chris detailed his experiences of owning the Tesla truck.
He explained that after purchasing the truck last year, he planned a long camping trip.
In fact, Helton planned a 381-mile trip to tow his camper all the way to Florida.
The first thing he praised was the utility of the hitch alignment cameras.
These allowed Chris to hitch up his camper to the rear of the Cybertruck without ever stepping out.
Any truck (or SUV) driver will tell you just how immensely helpful that kind of feature is.
One very interesting find that Chris made during his trip was the anti-sway kit.

A big fear many people have when towing is the impact of crosswinds or bumps in the road.
Chris, however, found that the Tesla Cybertruck handled them absolutely perfectly.
Another important feature of the Cybertruck was its range.
Of course, hauling anything heavy for a long period of time is going to reduce range in any vehicle.
And real world tests have shown that towing can reduce a Cybertruck’s range by as much as 50 percent.
To his credit, Chris admitted he needed to stop for charge ‘every 100 miles or so’.
However, he didn’t find that a problem, especially if you planned your route clearly in advance.
So, next time you plan a major trip, perhaps the Cybertruck is a more viable option than you think.
