An infamous Tesla Cybertruck EV from Los Angeles is now up for auction, but the catch is that it’s undrivable.
This is the Cybertruck that burst into flames before being heavily vandalized in an LA parking lot, yet somehow, the pickup truck is up for auction.
The added caveat is, of course, that the truck doesn’t work, so any new owner has a big job ahead of them if they want to fix that.
Remarkably, the listing for the truck has it on sale for over $80,000 despite it being in no fit state to drive.

The Cybertruck is covered in graffiti
As the listing shows, the EV is covered in graffiti artwork across all parts of its body.
This all appeared not long after the truck caught fire back in January.
The listing for the EV states the graffiti is ‘secondary damage.’
According to the auction, an ‘interior burn’ caused the primary damage, ie, the fire, to the truck.
The graffiti does a good job of covering much of the external damage.

But burn marks and warped body panels reveal the truck’s real state.
The cabin received a lot of damage, too, with many major components now missing.
The Tesla is unlikely to run again
Looking inside the Tesla Cybertruck, the only parts that survived were the rear seats.
The front has suffered extensive damage, and the steering wheel is no longer in the truck.
The dashboard is also missing some panels, while the infotainment system doesn’t function.
Clearly, the chances of the Tesla running again are slim at best, even if you had all the money in the world.

It makes you wonder who would want to own such a Cybertruck that is beyond repair.
Some components could be reused on other trucks.
But you could also use the Tesla EV as an obscure art piece.
It would certainly draw lots of attention.
The truck is currently listed for $82,000, although we struggle to see just who’d want to pay so much money for a burnt-out Cybertruck.
Then again, stranger things have happened, so who knows where this truck will end up!
