This Tesla Cybertruck has quite the unusual exterior – it’s wrapped up to look like a rust bucket.

The car was made to look all rugged and rustic as part of a custom job.

But would you pay all that cash for a Tesla just to make it look dirty?

We think the look is certainly an acquired taste.

Tesla’s Cybertrucks have a striking exterior

Cybertrucks EVs are known for their unique, sharp silver look – it helps the truck navigate difficult terrain.

In fact, the outside is known for being customized by owners to give it that little bit of uniqueness – which you have to admit, is quite a good concept.

These guys even made magnetic wraps that are interchangeable – clever idea right when you think about the cash that they cost owners.

Unfortunately, though, sometimes much like gift wrapping, car wrapping doesn’t quite go to plan, which one owner found out first hand.

He later found out the hard way why you shouldn’t unwrap your Cybertruck – poor guy.

This style though, takes rugged to a whole new level – just wait until you see how.

Custom wrapped Tesla: Rust bucket or dirty dog?

The guys over on the ADM_mediaYT channel covered one Cybertruck with quite the striking design – rust.

Yes, you read that right. The wrap was, in fact, a rust bucket design, and let’s just say it’s not necessarily what we could have chosen.

It’s a bit of an unusual choice after all – rust is something that Tesla owner’s would not want to see on their trucks after splashing the cash.

This custom job first came up after Cybertrucks hit headlines after owners thought that their cars were rusting.

But what they thought was rust turned out to be surface contamination according to an engineer.

The rusty look, though, may just be a bit too far when it comes to decking out the $81,000 auto, don’t you agree?

That said, the style is clearly in hot demand, as you can see. That leaves us with one question.

Would you invest in rust?
