Another Tesla Model Y Juniper prototype has been spotted being tested and it gives us our closest look yet at the new elements on the EV.

The refreshed Model Y – codenamed Juniper – was initially slated for release this year.

However, that date was pushed back with the latest rumors suggesting it will go into mass production on January 1, 2025.

With production set to gear up soon, Tesla has been spotted testing another Model Y prototype.

Tesla is set to launch two new vehicles next year – the Model Y and the Model Q

Although Tesla has remained typically tight-lipped about the Model Y Juniper, images have surfaced online showing a prototype taking to the roads of California.

Now, another set of images has been shared online by an X user known as Suppakit Phonorthong, giving us all a better look at the car.

It seems as though Tesla has made some big changes to the front design of the Model Y.

The new images appear to show a new front facia on the vehicle, which looks a little like the design on the Model S/X.

It also has no front light bar but does have one across the back and also has a redesign on its side mirrors.

The EV is rumored to go into mass production very soon

Unfortunately, the images don’t give us a glimpse at the inside of the vehicle, so it’s difficult to say what Tesla has planned.

However, it’s fairly safe to assume that it will benefit from the sort of interior changes we have seen on the Model 3 Highland, which included a new dashboard with wraparound lights, a rear infotainment screen, and improvements to the seats.

The Model Y Juniper is also expected to come with more efficient electric motors and power electronics, as well as improved suspension.

Rumors have suggested that the Model Y Juniper will go into mass production on January 1 at the Gigafactory in Shanghai.
