In what may be the most extreme test ever, this man launched his Tesla off a cliff, and the results were shocking.
YouTuber Danny Duncan wanted to test the limits of his car.
Now, there are a lot of ways he could have done that, but he opted to send it hurtling off a cliff.
Forget Thelma & Louise, this cliff dive is one for the ages.

Why did this man launch his Tesla off a cliff?
For Danny, this test had been a long time coming.
He spoke jovially of sending it to space – not literally, though, SpaceX has that covered.

But there was some sentimentality there.
After all, he’d had this car since 2017.
Wouldn’t you be sad if you drove your car of eight years straight off a cliff?
Now there’s a question I bet you’ve never had to ponder before.
But before the Tesla was launched, a Prius was used as a test dummy.

“This is probably one of the s****iest cars I’ve ever seen and driven in my entire life,” Danny said.
So no love lost then.
As the Prius shot up into the sky, it did a flip and landed on its roof.
The aftermath was exactly what you’d expect.

It was a total wreck, but that was a cause for celebration for Danny and his buddies.
“That felt like a birthday present!” he exclaimed.
And now, it was time for the Tesla to take a flying jump.

What happened in this extreme stunt?
With bull horns plastered on the bonnet and a smashed-up back window, it was time for this Tesla to become airborne.
The EV was put into position and then let loose along a dirt track.

It went at some speed, before taking flight and descending towards the valley below.
When it crashed back down to Earth, it was absolutely demolished.
It was essentially scrap metal now, but what a memorable exit for a car, right?

Danny pondered what car could go up next, and asked a friend if he’d be game for offering up his Cybertruck.
“For 100 grand,” his friend replied.
Now that would be interesting to see.
Rest in peace Danny’s Tesla, we hardly knew ye.
And that’s what happens when you send a Tesla off a cliff.
