The Tesla Optimus might be taking huge bow-legged squatted strides in the field of technology, but its latest video is the most impressive showcase of what the robot can do.
Having started as essentially a remote-controlled puppet, it’s now learning to walk and work like the robot we were promised.
Yes, after years of development, the Tesla Optimus is now edging towards being a functional maid.
New videos shared by Tesla revealed that the robot is more than adept at chores.

Previous clips of the Tesla Optimus showcased it learning some extremely simple tasks, taking photoshoots with celebs, and struggling to waddle up hill inclines.
But the technology appears to be getting much better.
Just last week, the robot was snapped dancing, showing that its stiff mechanics are loosening up.
Now, Tesla has shared a video of Optimus getting hands-on with some mundane household tasks.

Orders such as sweeping, vacuuming, opening cabinets, closing curtains, and taking the trash out all seemed to be easily completed.
The short video on social media revealed that the AI is learning by watching humans replicate these tasks.
It might not be too long before the ‘stir the pot’ command turns into ‘make us a gourmet meal from these ingredients’.
It’ll likely never have the ingenuity and initiative to try new and creative recipes. But it could easily learn from a Gordon Ramsey video to start serving up Masterchef-quality grub.
Arguably, the most interesting task was watching it get to work on engineering and mechanics, taking pieces of a Model X and pushing it down the dolly.
Maybe the Tesla garages could soon be flanked by Optimus’, serving as mechanical employees to create and fix the EVs.

With the robot currently on its way to being an impressive housemaid, it’s certainly a promising look for the company.
It also claims Optimus is the key to it being a $25 trillion company, and at this rate, they might be on to something.
