Tesla owner and US hip-hop artist Jovian has revealed the significant monthly gas savings he has made after buying his Tesla Model 3.
Even the most glamorous people are getting their moral compasses in order and moving to electric vehicles.
Jovian is relatively well-known in the music industry – netting over 100,000 followers on Instagram and 17,000 monthly streams on Spotify – and recently spoke cars with a TikTok influencer.
The hip-hop artist is now a proud Tesla Model 3 owner and has revealed that even he is in tune with his monthly gas savings, recouping $200 a month on fuel after switching to the EV life.

US hip-hop artist reveals $200 monthly gas savings with 100k-mile Tesla
Appearing on a TikTok with influencer Suleyman Dolaev, Jovian explained that he was the owner of a Tesla Model 3 for the last five years, having put an impressive 100,000 miles on the clock.
But previously, he primarily drove a gas car, spending roughly $200 a month on fuel on his trips around New York and the East Coast of the US.
The hip-hop artist revealed that he managed to cut down on gas and oil changes to save while scarcely noticing an electricity bill increase even when using his home charging kit instead of intercity public superchargers.
“I haven’t seen much of an increase in my electricity bill,” he said.

Electricity savings are key when it comes to making that switch from gas to EVs, with anxiety that the recent increase of gas and electric bills at home would only worsen with the need to charge a car too.
Still, US homeowners are serving as public Mythbusters, with one husband and wife duo sharing their bills and being aghast at how little the increase was.
Tesla driver recommends EV switch after mass savings
After detailing his savings, Jovian also gave the Tesla Model 3 his seal of approval, knowing that the monthly savings are significant and the carbon footprint is also taking a kick out of global warming’s arsenal.
“I definitely recommend it. I see a lot more people — like, there’s one passing us right now — I see so many as of late.”
Tesla drivers are often vocal about their monthly gas savings, with one driver detailing just how much it costs to charge the car from home each month.
If it’s good enough for hip-hop stars in New York, it’s good enough for my suburb too.
