If you ever get bored while waiting for your electric car to charge, then fear not, as Tetris is now coming to some models, thanks to Skoda.
It might sound bizarre, but the popular game is being added to some electric vehicles to keep people entertained while they sit around waiting for their battery to power up.
Skoda is the company pioneering this, in conjunction with AirConsole, while other games are also being made available on the in-car entertainment systems.
For many, Tetris is a cult classic, so having it in an electric vehicle while as you recharge feels like a dream.

How you can play Tetris in your electric car
Currently, the game is being offered thanks to AirConsole, and on two electric-vehicle models from Skoda.
These are the Skoda Elroq and Skoda Enyaq.
While there are 15 games available on the AirConsole software, the star of the show is easily Tetris.
The game has been a favorite for many for over four decades, and while simple, it can provide hours of fun.
For now, it is only available on the Enyaq and the Elroq.

However, AirConsole plans to roll it out to more vehicles after six months, along with more games.
Smartphones act as the gamepad in the car, with the action being shown on the infotainment screen.
The sounds of the game are pumped out via the car’s speakers.
The Czech car company is also offering Spotify directly with the infotainment system.

Other games are available via AirConsole
As we have mentioned, this isn’t the only game available on AirConsole.
UNO Car Party, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, and more games are available via the console.
The Czech carmaker has said that more games are to be added in the future.
AirConsole also ensures that the games can only be accessed when a vehicle is parked.

So if someone wanted to be naughty and play on the move, they would be unable to do so.
For those who own an Enyaq or Elroq electric car, it is an exciting time when it comes to in-car entertainment.
We just wonder what games will be available next if Tetris proves an in-car hit.
