Hot off the back of signing a huge College Football contract as the second-ranked freshman quarterback in the world – holding a $1.3M NIL valuation – Texan youngster Keelon Russell has quickly given back to his mom with a brand-new Mercedes luxury car.
Russell is one of the hottest properties in the next generation of football, leading his Texan high school to a second State Championship while throwing 38 touchdown passes.
Having now been recruited from Duncanville to play college ball for the Alabama Crimson Tide, Russell’s future looks bright.
But after making such a milestone move, he’s now taken the early opportunity to thank his mom and hand her the keys to a brand-new luxury car.

With the football season at a halt, the Monaco and Spanish Grands Prix highlighted the wealth of the best celebrity athletes in the world, as prime supercars were on full display; George Russell’s Mercedes-AMG ONE stole many hearts while Fernando Alonso debuted the Aston Martin Valhalla.
Football stars are equally accustomed to wild cars too, with Joe Burrow buying a $3m fully-functional Batmobile and Tom Brady owning a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.
Keelon Russell might just be headed in that same direction, but before the paydays become extravagant, the freshman quarterback decided to purchase a Mercedes GLC 300.

Taking to Instagram, he snapped his mum posing in front of a ribboned GLC, clearly a gift on the back of his NCAA coattails.
“Blessed to make her happy,” he wrote.
The Texan quarterback is one of the most exciting freshmen in the game, with a NIL rating of $1.3m.
Already, the recipient of the 2024 High School Football Player of the Year award has netted sponsorship deals with Gatorade and Panini America, putting his business marketability and skill to work.

Russell appears to be quite a car enthusiast too, having several pictures on his social media with a Mercedes-Maybach GLS and twin McLaren GTs.
On the field, though, Keelon Russell will have to bide his time on the reserves for Alabama, whose first-string QB Ty Simpson is returning.
Still, he could soon be throwing against Arch Manning and co, with many people expecting him to break into the roster at some point throughout 2025.
Undoubtedly, his luxury car collection will be in the limelight again soon.
Not all football stars are car inclined. Despite a whopping $60m contract, NFL star Khali Shakir doesn’t need the six-figure wheels and instead drives a 2021 Subaru.
