Two Lamborghini owners from Texas have revealed the costs attached with keeping a Lamborghini Huracán in good shape, warning buying one was only half the job.
Emtiaz Uddin, the CEO of Ekko Vision, took to TikTok to reveal that his Huracán needed an engine replacement.
And fellow Lambo owner Noah Jay said he got a wild bill after a regular maintenance visit.
All in all, it proves that the Lamborghini life isn’t for the frugal hearted.

What does it cost to maintain a Lamborghini?
Emtiaz Uddin took to TikTok to reveal that his Lamborghini Huracán was no longer in his garage because it was off getting an engine replacement.
The cost of which starts in the mid-five figures and can climb up to more than $100,000.
Fortunately for Uddin, the manufacturer was covering the cost of the repair job.

Although he’d avoided having to pay for it himself, Uddin wanted those considering a Lamborghini to bear this in mind before committing.
A friend and fellow Lambo owner, Noah Jay, took to TikTok to share his own experience.
“[Uddin] asked what my dream car would be to buy if I ever become successful enough with [Ekko] to do so,” he said.
“But he made it a point to make sure that even if I made enough to buy the car, I have to keep working hard enough to afford to fix the car.”
Proving this point, he revealed his recent maintenance visit included a $500 oil change, a $3,000 diagnostic, and another fix that would set him back $20,000.

Why do they cost so much to run?
Why are Lamborghinis so pricey? Well, there are a few reasons.
Motor1 laid out several factors including parts and labor, consumables like tires, and scheduled maintenance beyond oil changes.
“For ownership-minded readers, even if you’ll never own a supercar, the message is clear: luxury performance comes with performance-level upkeep,” the site said.

Fortunately, the internet has given drivers the opportunity to raise awareness about their expenses.
And it’s not just with Lambos that this is happening.
One Tesla owner revealed the five hidden costs he wished he’d known about before buying his Model 3.
That’s not forgetting the staggering costs that come with the Bugatti Chiron, or the price for a paint job for a 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder that left people in shock.
