A Texas man recently had an invitation from a neighbor to meet her in her garage, as she wanted to talk about her late husband’s car, a stunning Lexus.

Texas-based detailer Landon Crawford from Aqualux Detailing had the invite to check out what was a very cool Lexus SC 430, a superb example of a luxury car.

After her husband passed away, the luxury coupe sat in her garage, and she wasn’t sure what to do with it.

But the detailer who came to look at it said it probably would not take much to get it back on the road again.

The story behind the Lexus in the garage

The Lexus SC 430 had not moved in ten years prior to the detailer getting a look at it.

Inside the car was clean, but the outside would need the dust shifted and the paintwork polished up.

She had attempted to start the car previously, but was unable to do so.

That is highly likely to be down to a flat battery, the car not sitting on charge for ten years.

As it has so much sentimental value to her, the woman isn’t looking to sell it.

She appeared to want to keep the car, but refurbished, as a reminder of her late husband.

What plans are there for the late husband’s car?

While the video doesn’t go into too much detail, it does give us an idea of what will happen to the Lexus.

Landon wanted to get the tires pumped up for starters.

Then he wanted to check the battery on the car and possibly jump it back to life.

Failing that, a new battery would likely get it going again.

Give it a good clean, and it would tidy up very nicely.

The lady recounted the sad story of her late husband before he passed away.

From what she said, his health deteriorated quite quickly, and he hid the key to the car before he died.

But she has the valet key, so they can fire the SC 430 up and get it running again.

Hopefully, there is a bright future ahead for her late husband’s car.
